Everyone has photos from the past that they're afraid will come back to haunt them — maybe from that party in college where you had a little too much to drink — or, if you're like Tom Hardy, selfies in your underwear.
An actor who has starred in box office hits like The Dark Knight Rises and Mad Max: Fury Road, Hardy's MySpace pics were bound to be unearthed. Is he ashamed, though? No, actually, not at all.
"I've got no shame about my MySpace photos, especially the one of me in my underpants, which is a glorious photo of a man in his natural habitat," Hardy told Sky News, according to the Independent. "In America, they say, 'You should be ashamed of this,' but I'm actually not remotely ashamed."
In the photos, the 37-year-old struts his stuff in what he called his "tighty-whitey budgie smugglers."
It just goes to show that, most of the time, the best way to handle a potentially embarrassing situation is to just embrace it. Given that things last forever on the Internet, even after they've been "deleted," what else can we do?
Check out some of the pictures below. (You're welcome.) We're laughing with you, Tom — definitely not at you.
