5 Ridiculously Simple Ways To Look Like You've Had The Best Sleep Of Your Life

Have you been partying like a rock star or moonlighting and burning the candle at both ends? If so, you are in good company. We have all been there. Consider me your partner in crime and follow these easy tips to fake having a restful night’s sleep. And when you can, try to get some serious shut-eye.

1. Depuff.

Smear on a good under-eye gel or eye cream formulated to depuff your eyes. Look for one that will depuff, plump fine lines, and soothe your delicate under-eye area.

2. Hydrate — inside and out.

It’s obvious but it’s easy to forget. Drink lots of water and keep your skin looking fresh with moisturizer. Dewy skin can take off years.

3. Conceal.

Hide unsightly dark circles with an under-eye concealer. If it’s not specifically for the eyes, it could be too dry. You want a satin texture that has enough coverage but is not too matte. Look for a formula that provides a good blend of coverage and hydration. Many concealers can be drying or heavy, so you want a formula that enhances and nourishes the skin.

4. Illuminate.

Bring light to your face with illuminators and highlighters. They come in cream, powder, liquid, and mousse form and are a girl’s best friend. It’s like an instant facelift! You can use them on the eyes, cheeks, lips, and nose to add a fresh sheen.

5. Brighten.

Add a little color to your face with a bright lipstick or blush. A rose or coral color will warm up the skin and make you look alive and radiant.
