A 2-Exercise Workout You Can Do In Your Living Room

As a personal trainer, I hear every excuse in the book for why people don't have time to workout. And I get it! It's tough and we're all very busy people. I try to help by proposing very simple solutions to fit in fitness — like a 4-minute workout you can do in your living room.

That workout and the video below are based on inspiring concept of #wycwyc (pronounced wik-wik), it stands for "what you can, when you can." It's a reminder that every little bit of exercise counts, even if it's in your living room and it's only for two to four minutes. Who doesn't have four minutes to spare?

Here's another super-quick workout that can be done at home with just a towel. There are only two exercises and they can be done in a super set (back-to-back with no rest in between):

Exercise 1: Knee-Tuck Push Ups

Beginners try five reps. More advanced athletes should do 10 reps.

Exercise 2: Glute Bridge Hamstring Curl

Try 10 reps and keep two legs on the towel if this is a new exercise for you. Or, pump up the intensity by doing one leg at a time for five reps each.

Complete three supersets (i.e. three sets of each exercise) and that’s all you need for a perfect #wycwyc workout that can be done in about 5 minutes. Check out the video below to see exactly how this routine works:
