Meditators Beat Dancers in Mind/Body Connection

Natalie Portman may have just won an Academy Award for her role as a ballerina in Black Swan, but that doesn't mean she has a better mind/body connection than meditators.

A new study from Cal-Berkeley says that active meditators are more in sync with their bodies than professional dancers and ballerinas!

The study suggested that although dancers have heightened awareness of their body, posture, and music, the meditators reign supreme when it comes to being in-tune with their emotions and their organs. (And if you saw Black Swan, Natalie's character definitely lacked int he emotional connection department.)
