Beyonce Shares Plant-Based Eating Secrets On Good Morning America

What's the BeyHive buzzing about this morning? Beyonce revealed on Good Morning America today how her plant-based eating habits help her look and feel great.

“I am not naturally the thinnest woman. I have curves. I’m proud of my curves and I have struggled since a young age with diets. Finding something that actually works, actually keeps the weight off has been difficult for me," the singer-songwriter-dancer-producer-businesswoman said in a pre-recorded video message.

A plant-based diet has been the key.

With the help of her personal trainer Marco Borges, Beyonce is encouraging everyone to go vegan for 22 days. Their intention is not necessarily to turn everyone into vegans, but to get people to maintain a habit of eating more healthfully — with more vegetables, beans, grains, herbs and spices, and less meat, dairy, soy and gluten.

The benefits don't just stop at weight loss: "I felt like my skin was really firm, a lot tighter than when I deprived myself of food and got the weight off fast."
