The Top 25 Cities To Work In The U.S.

You just graduated. Now what? You move to New York or LA because bigger cities mean more job opportunities, right?

Wrong. According to Glassdoor, which just released a report on the best cities in the U.S. for jobs, you should be looking at small to midsize cities — like Oklahoma City, Louisville, and Indianapolis — instead.

The rankings were determined by three factors:

  • How easy it is to get a job
  • How affordable it is to live there
  • How satisfied employees are working there

And out of the 50 most populated U.S. metro areas, Raleigh snagged the top spot, with its many tech companies, research centers, walkable neighborhoods, and affordable homes.

Here's the top 25:

1. Raleigh, NC

2. Kansas City, MO

3. Oklahoma City, OK

4. Austin, TX

5. Seattle, WA

6. Salt Lake City, UT

7. San Jose, CA

8. Louisville, KY

9. San Antonio, TX

10. Washington, D.C.
