After hiding our feet in thick socks and boots all the winter, our heels and toes probably aren't looking their best right about now. Scratchy, dry skin doesn't only feel "blah," it's also not ideal for when sandal seasons rolls around. So why not treat your tootsies to a little DIY skin care?
This foot mask is made from ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, and it's the perfect excuse to sit back and put your feet up!
Happy Feet Repairing Mask
- 1 apple
- 2 tablespoons honey, warmed
- 1 teaspoon sour cream
- Coconut oil
Puree the apple, honey and sour cream until smooth. Apply the mask to your feet and wrap them in a towel. Put your feet up and relax for 20 minutes.
When your skin feels smooth and soft, rinse the mask off with warm water, dry your feet and apply some coconut oil to lock in the healing properties of the mask. The ingredients in this foot mask promote new skin growth and are incredibly hydrating.
This recipe yields more than one mask. Share it with a friend or your partner or store leftovers in the fridge!
