Bruce Jenner Opens Up About His Rumored Gender Transition
In the second promo for Diane Sawyer’s interview with the former Olympian, released by ABC News on Tuesday, Bruce Jenner finally speaks.
With only a little over a week until the exclusive interview is aired, the latest clip indicates that Jenner will open up about his rumored gender transition to the public.
“My whole life has been getting me ready for this,” he says in the 15-second teaser.
Jenner first made headlines in January after People magazine reported that the 65-year-old was "transitioning to a woman" with the support of his family. Ever since then, it's all been speculation — until now.
While ABC has played its cards very close to its chest, only describing the interview as "far-ranging and exclusive," it's pretty clear that the former husband to Kris Jenner will be addressing the rumors that have been following him and his family around for months now.
He's been laying low, allowing the media's imagination to run wild, but now, apparently, he's decided to take control of the situation. He will be unveiling "the journey, the decisions, the future" on his own terms.
Check out the latest promotional clip below for "Bruce Jenner: The Interview," which airs next Friday on ABC.
