Home-Brewed Healing Tea With Rose Hips, Raw Honey + Ashwaghanda

Although there is no denying the glory of summer, there is something so magical – and so important – about the winter. It's an opportunity to slow down, look inward, spend time with loved ones and take care of ourselves. It's for weekends spent in bed, grounding foods, igniting our internal fires and big, comfy chunky sweaters.

That said, even with all the things I love about wintertime, there are a few things that are less fun — runny noses, coughs, cold toes and dry skin. The good news is there are healing remedies for each of them!

Below is a recipe to get you through the winter months runny-nose-free (yes, it's possible!) by boosting your immune system and warming your insides. Plus, with more time indoors, it's the perfect time to experiment in the kitchen! Most people think of muffins, red velvet cake and slow cooked meats when they think of extra kitchen time, and as delicious as that all sounds, remember, there are a million things to do in that magical kitchen of yours, including creating healing balms, tonics, elixirs, body scrubs and herbal teas.

This home-brewed healing tea is packed with immune-boosting medicinal herbs that will nourish you and heal you through and through:
