DIY: Berry Popsicles!

There's something special about taking time out for a treat. Truly enjoying it is an indulgence in itself. Unfortunately, many treats are not really treating our health very well and it becomes more of a mis-treat and a guilty pleasure. So can you have your treat and enjoy good health too? Yes!

This treat is a super treat. The berries and dark chocolate are all high in anti-oxidants and the good fats in the chocolate help balance out the sweetness from the fruit. It all adds up to a great treat that leaves you feeling healthy, satisfied and guilt-free.

DIY: Berry Popsicles!

Makes 6 ice popsicles

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raspberries
  • 1 cup blueberries
  • 1 cup of water
  • 2 tbsp. of dark chocolate chunks (get as close to 100% as you can) or you can use powdered raw cacao
  • 1/4 tsp. of cardamom seeds

Directions

Mix it all in a blender and pour into the ice popsicle form, add the sticks.

Put it the freezer; wait, wait, wait.

To get the popsicles out of the form, use a bowl of hot water to dip the form in until the popsicles slip out.
