Creamy Mango Lassi With A Superfood Boost

I love the combination of sweet mango with sour yogurt in a creamy lassi, so I created this healthy refined sugar free, superfood version that makes a perfect nutritious breakfast when served as a smoothie bowl, or a refreshing smoothie on the go. Add ginger and a slice of unpeeled lemon to this creamy sensation for a delicious zesty finish.

Creamy Mango Lassi With A Superfood Boost

Serves 2

Ingredients to blend

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 mango
  • 1/3 cup plain thick Greek yogurt or coconut yogurt
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 3 Tbsp. hemp seeds
  • 1 Tbsp. maca powder
  • 1 inch chopped or grated fresh ginger
  • 1 large slice unpeeled lemon
  • 2 pitted dates or 2 Tbsp. raw honey

Ingredients for topping

  • 1/3 cup granola (I make my own with almonds, hazelnuts, coconut and goji berries, or opt for the most natural one at the store)
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1/2 mango
  • 2 tsp. bee pollen
  • 2 Tbsp. coconut chips


Blend all ingredients in top section.

Top with the ingredients given, or invent your own combination.
