When you indulge in this rich and chocolaty smoothie, you won't believe that it's actually healthy and nutritious. It's made with antioxidant-packed cherries and cacao and it's a great way to get your kids (and your husband) to eat spinach and like it.
Be sure to buy the superfood cacao, and not cocoa. Cacao is a super antioxidant that contains magnesium, fiber, calcium, and iron, and doesn't include any sugars and fillers. It's also super delicious!
Chocolate-Covered Cherry Smoothie
- 1 cup almond milk, or your favorite nut milk
- 1 cup organic frozen cherries
- 1 Tbsp. cacao powder
- 3 loosely packed cups organic spinach
Blend all ingredients in a high powered blender or Vitamix.
