Madonna's New Workout: Barre3 with Sadie Lincoln
Madonna's new workout obsession is called barre3, which blends yoga, Pilates, and ballet all-in-one. Barre3 is based in Portland, Oregon so Madonna has been flying in barre3 founder, Sadie Lincoln (pictured below), from Portland to New York for private workouts! (Though this shouldn't be much of a surprise since she recently booked an entire row of first class so her private chef could cook for her.)
So what exactly is barre3? The barre3 website says:
As dancers know, the ballet barre is a wonderful prop designed to support the body in both static and dynamic movement leading to long, lean muscles. Barre3 evolves the dancer's workout by combining the grace of the ballet barre with the wisdom of yoga and the strength of Pilates.Barre3 classes are set to an upbeat soundtrack and follow a vigorous pace moving through a sequence of postures designed to shape and lift the entire body.
Each workout is 60-minutes and promises fast body shaping results.
