Celebrity chef, Mario Batali is looking a bit leaner these days as he's lost 35 pounds. So how did Mario lose weight?
More veggies, less meat, and smaller portions!
Mario tells the Wall Street Journal:
"I lost 35 pounds and it took me about a year and a half. I'm still working on it. I started eating less meat during the day, eating half the portions that even I myself would put in front of me, and I focused on a lot of raw vegetables."
Mario recently came out in support of the Meatless Mondays campaign as well by offering more vegetarian options at all of his 14 restaurants.
