3 Easy Tips to Eat Greener on Your Next Flight

Before you turn off your air conditioner, hop in a hybrid cab, and head to the airport, here are three cheap and easy tips to eat greener on your next flight:

  1. Bring your own SIGG water bottle and ask the flight attendant to refill it. Though remember to make sure it's empty when you travel through security.
  2. Bring some organic or natural treats from home. Nuts, granola, cookies, and chips usually travel well. Or maybe some organic chocolate? Fruit will work too.
  3. If you're NOT gonna eat it, then don't take it! If the flight attendant is passing some cookies laden with high-fructose corn syrup (evil!), then politely refuse rather than accepting and later throwing away.
