Anne Lamott and Cheryl Strayed on Getting Older, Failing More, and Finding Grace

We were thrilled to discover Cheryl Strayed and Anne Lamott discussing personal growth and grace (and, of course, writing) in this video from Riverhood Books

There's so much to love! In particular, we liked this quote from Anne Lamott on aging:
"I'm older and that's been a great blessing. I'm 58 now, and I know that there's nothing out there that's going to save me and heal me. There's no fix...it's not going to happen out there."
And this quote on taking chances:
"Let yourself do it badly. And I would encourage you to make more messes and mistakes. I would encourage you, like Beckett said, to fail again and fail better."

Hope this is a great start to your Sunday!
