What to Do (And Not to Do) When Clearing Clutter
Spring is here (in fact in NYC it felt like summer, yesterday), which means it's time for spring cleaning and clearing clutter. If you're looking to get your home in order, do you know what some professional organizers say is the worst thing you can do?

In today's Wall Street Journal, experts say that picking up storage bins, containers, and boxes is probably one of the worst things you can do. "It is the biggest mistake people make," says Laura Leist, president of the National Association of Professional Organizers or NAPO, a trade group. "They think if they buy something to put their things in that is going to solve the problem."

So what to do?

Experts say that throwing stuff away, or "purging" is the most important thing you can do to get organized. If you're ready to take it up a notch and incorporate feng shui in your clutter-clearing process here are some great feng shui tips to get you started.
