New British study suggests viewers are more likely to do good deeds
Yes, in a new study, people who watch inspirational clips from Oprah are more likely to commit to and spend more time doing good deeds, suggests a British Study.The study, conducted by Simone Schnall of the University of Cambridge in England, had 36 female participants individually watch one of three videos: the Oprah segment, a nature documentary, or a clip from a British comedy show. Not only were the participants who viewed the Oprah segment more likely to help the professor with another task, but they felt "moved and uplifted," or "having a warm feeling in the chest" after watching.
