Matter and Spirit (Poem)
Classical yoga splits the universe in two parts: Matter and spirit... Matter matters, because it's the stars, the planets and you!
Spirit matters too because, because maybe it has two?
The Universal and you!
Universal fills you with breath. Individual exhales in stealth.
Two spirits yet all one, that's when you begin the fun!
Holding a pose breath will speak
Releasing you into your peak!
Softening the individual you, into the universal cue
Opens you up to a new view!
A new reality seeing a universe benevolent
Yet the dinosaurs may not agree
Because of their decree!
Yet It's time that proves it's true.
So return to breath anytime you wish
Universal and individual, together It centers you.
