Sleep better tonight with these starter tips.
1. No caffeine after 7:30pm. Make that 2pm if you're sensitive to caffeine.2. No heavy exercise (mental or physical) for 3-4 hours before bedtime. Your mind and body need time to wind down.
3. Make sure you room is completely dark. Even the slightest amount of light (e.g. a bright alarm clock next to your bed) can be somewhat disruptive.
4. Turn off the television.
5. Meditate. If you've never meditated before, just close your eyes, take long and deep breaths, and visualize a peaceful and pleasant scene from your past.
