Blueberries have the highest antioxidant content of all fruit and explode with immune-strengthening vitamins and minerals that nourish both body and soul.

Their powerful antioxidants and polyphenols protect the body from free-radical damage, benefit cognitive and neurological health, support the cardiovascular system, and reduce inflammation.

Also called "brain berries," blueberries help protect the brain from oxidative stress1 and may reduce the effects of certain brain conditions or dementia. Studies have shown that the antioxidants in blueberries accumulate in areas of the brain that are essential for intelligence.

Did you know that frozen blueberries deliver an even bigger dose of disease-fighting antioxidants than fresh blueberries? These antioxidants come from compounds called anthocyanins, which give blueberries their purple hue. The ice crystals that form when the berries are frozen disrupt the structure of the plant tissue and make anthocyanins more available for your body to absorb.
