31 Days of Wellness, Day 10: Feel the Need to Shop? Shop Vintage
A New You in the New Year - Jan 10th
It's Sunday and odds are you're out-and-about running errands or doing some window shopping. If you feel the need to take the window shopping up a notch and actually purchase some clothing, then consider going to a vintage clothing store. Shopping vintage is a great eco-friendly option. In our interview with eco-style expert, Zem Joaquin of Ecofabulous.com, Zem recommends vintage venues such as "flea markets, resale shops, and high-end consignment boutiques."
If you're in San Francisco, Zem's favorite vintage clothing stores are Helpers, Cris, and Torso Vintages. In Los Angeles, she's a fan of Decades.
Every day throughout the month of January our 31 Days of Wellness series will provide an actionable tip aimed to get your 2010 off to a better, healthier, greener start.
