On Fitness & Yoga:
Giada was a gym rat until she got pregnant, then she looked for something that was slower-paced. That's when she began to practice yoga.
"I thought, 'Oh, this will be a good way to stretch,' but it turned out to be so much more!" she says. "It taught me to breathe, it strengthened my muscles, and it helped me relax."
Now, post-birth, she practices yoga five times a week. (A private instructor comes to her home at 4:45am).
On Diet & Sweets:
Giada used to have 6-8 tablespoons of sugar in her coffee! She then eliminated white sugar for six months and "got over the hump by eating a lot of fruit and replacing sugar with healthier alternatives, like brown rice syrup and agave nectar."
