Brooklyn-based designer David Alhadeff not only has an apartment with beautiful views of the Williamsburg bridge, pink walls, and "stuff" from IKEA - but he also has a unique blend of vintage and recyclable materials.

A lot of us tend to overlook using these types of materials when we first set out to make our homes greener and Alhadeff's apartment gives us a glimpse of all the eco-friendly possibilities that vintage and recyclable materials present.
