Gisele: Sunscreen Is 'Poison'

30-year-old supermodel, yogi, mindful eater, organic skin care entrepreneur, eco-superhero, and our 2010 celebrity of the year, Gisele Bundchen, recently ruffled feathers with her comments about breastfeeding (which she clarified).

Well, Gisele just told the UK's Daily Mail that she won't wear sunscreen, saying "I cannot put this poison on my skin... I do not use anything synthetic." As you can imagine, this statement has ruffled feathers, too.

If Gisele can draw more attention to the fact that so many skin care products are filled with toxins by making a statement like this, then I'm all for it. But it's also important to know that there are natural and safe sunscreen products out there, too.
