GOOD does affordable great in San Francisco
Located in San Francisco's SOMA district, "The Good Hotel is intended to be the first hotel with a conscience. Our philanthropic and positive approach is designed to inspire the 'good in us all.'"
Not only do they do eco-friendly, but they do eco-friendly in creative and cool ways.
Vending machines in the lobby are stocked with wallets made from FedEx envelopes. Each room has light fixtures constructed with reused glass bottles as well. Key cards are made from recycled cardboard and reclaimed wood is used for bed frames, which were of course designed locally, by Ohio Design - that along with recycled wall paper will complete your room. Pretty cool, huh?
Even betters news is also that rooms will run around $100-$130 per night (weekday / weekend)
